Gabriel García Márquez, the Colombian novelist whose “One Hundred Years of Solitude” established him as a giant of 20th-century literature, died on Thursday at his home in Mexico City. He was 87.
My writer friend, Brandon Hale, is in a battle for his life against cancer right now. Due to complications following surgery, he’s in the ICU on a ventilator. Please keep him in your prayers.
If you read sci fi or fantasy, please download his free book (the first in a series) and share this link with others. He’s a full time author living on his book earnings, so this would be a tangible way to help a good man in need. Besides which, I’ve read Brandon’s work. He’s a wonderful writer, so you’re in for a very good read.
